Things consuming too much of my time (in the best way)
In a world filled with endless distractions, some things manage to consume our time in the most delightful ways. Here a few things that have captivated my time:
Playing with Google’s Emoji kitchen
Have you ever tried your hand at blending two emojis? Well, with Google's 'Emoji Kitchen,' you can concoct all sorts of one-of-a-kind combinations! Just a little word of warning: it can be surprisingly addictive, as you'll want to keep trying out new pairings. Trust me, it's a delightful rabbit hole to tumble down! Speaking of which, I recently whipped up this unicorn bird creation. Check it out for yourself!
Keeping up with new NA brands entering the market
It feels like a fresh and innovative non-alcoholic product is hitting the shelves almost daily. Recently, the renowned non-alcoholic 'spirit' Ceder’s creators have unveiled yet another exciting addition to their lineup: an alcohol-free Tequila alternative named Soldadera. The prospect of trying this new creation has me genuinely intrigued. I'm looking forward to holding the bottle, savoring the aroma, and taking that first sip, anticipating the unique flavors and experiences it promises to deliver.
This surge of creativity and experimentation in the non-alcoholic market speaks to the evolving tastes and preferences of consumers who seek enjoyable alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages. Soldadera is a testament to the ongoing revolution in the world of non-alcoholic options, and I'm excited to get my hands on it and give it a shot!
Reading too many books
I exhausted my TV options during the writers' strike and devoured books. Ranging from a chilling story of a victim brought back to life by a government project to an insider's look at Glossier.
With each page I turn and every story I immerse myself in, the absence of my beloved TV shows becomes a distant concern. The written word has proven to be a portal to captivating and enlightening adventures, a world where my imagination is the driving force. While my favorite shows remain on hiatus, I've discovered the immense pleasure of losing myself in the pages of books, savoring the intricate narratives, relishing the diverse characters, and reliving the thrill of storytelling in a different form. It's safe to say I'm thoroughly enjoying this escape into the realm of books while my favorite TV shows are on hold.
Read and loved! : The It Girl by Ruth Ware & My Murder by Katie Williams
Up Next: Bunny by Mona Awad & Glossy: Ambition, Beauty, and the Inside Story of Emily Weiss's Glossier by Marisa Meltzer
As we come to the end of this journey through the things that have been keeping me happily occupied, it's pretty obvious that life's sweetest moments can be found in the little things. Whether you're spicing up your messages with emoji fun, toasting to the latest non-alcoholic treats, or diving into exciting books, these are the moments that sprinkle a bit of joy into our daily routines. So, feel free to get creative with your emojis, cheers to the folks inventing awesome booze-free drinks, and let those books whisk you away to new adventures.
